The below steps will guide you through the setup of the AVD Cloud Workspace (Windows App) on your device.

Accessing the AVD Cloud from a PC

*Note* - The following steps need to be preformed on your local device, outside of any Cloud environment.

Install the needed software


  • To download the Windows App software on your PC, go to the website https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2262633


  • Depending on your browser security, you may receive the below warning. If so, click on Keep to allow the download to complete.


  • Once completed, under your downloads, click on the file to execute it.


  • Launch the Windows App, and select Sign In. Here you will use your Microsoft account login details.


  • Note if you have not yet configured your Authenticator app, you will be prompted to complete that process. If needed you can access the below Knowledge Base article for detailed instructions.

  • After you sign in, select Devices to show your Cloud PC and any other services you have access to. Click Connect on the resource you would like to launch.


  • The first time you access a resource you may be prompted to Enter your credentials. Here just enter your Microsoft account password and check the box to “Remember me”, then click OK.
